Default brand new clutch slipping

I am newb and i am sorry that my first post has to be like this but i do need help, so here is the story:
last week i bought 95 Prelude for $430, girl said the clutch was bad and it was slipping, i was able to drive(very carefully) the car to my home, so this past weekene i put new clutch in(my first time ever working on a honda), took me whole 3 days. Last night once i got everithing done i took it for a spin and it seemed to drive normal, so i let it run for few minutes untill i cleand up all the tools sat back in the car and it wouldn't move, first i thought rear brakes must have locked up, so i shut the car off and went to bed. well today i took apart rear brakes, while at it i put new pads on and flushed the fluit, sat back in the car and test drove it agian seamed to be ok so once again i let it sit whle running untill i cleand up all the tools sat back in the car and same thing, except this time i know it has nothing to do with brakes. after having friend come over and look at it we figure that the clutch is slipping.
the car has ABS light on (is brake system tied up to clutch system?)
the car has check engine light on (never got around reading codes)
Do i need to manually adjust clutch pedal?
any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Nedim

i assume you bled the clutch?

did you resurface the flywheel?

you may need to adjust the clutch but i don't think that'd fix it.

it sounds like something is heating up and you're losing grip, what clutch?

pull the codes, maybe a misfire and could feel as if it was slipping.

most brand new clutches have a 500 mile break in period. so maybe drive it easy until then and see how it is.

Thanks for responses,
I did not bleed the clutch since i didn't disconect any of the hydrulic lines, but that was one of the things i was going to do this evening.
I cant remember brand name of the clutch kit, but buddy of mine who owns porche shop ordered it from his supplier.
I did not resurface the flywheel, but i did sand blast it like i do every time i change clutch(this is my first honda job, but i have done few VW clutch jobs).
I don't think misfiering could make it seem to slip this much, BTW i belive check engine is more than likely something to do with emisions(O2, ot Cat)
any other sugestions are appresiated.

Thanks,
Nedim
