lsd clunking noise???
I posted this on prelude forum but no help so i'm going to give a try here.
So I have a 95 Accord with H22a swap. My mechanic said he got me a LSD (aftermarket oem?). It makes clunking noises when turning, but usually stop after driven a period of time. After I changed new clutch, Exedy, the noises are still there regardless of how long I drive the car. Its really bothering me now.
I searched around and some said to use certain type of oil (redline 75w90). Can my trans take that type or is there any other recommendations? Currently using 10w30 regular oil.
Thanks...

It really depends on what type of LSD you have. If it is a helical LSD it does not require a special oil but plate and clutch type LSDs do require a friction modifier and some models need a specific MTF. Hopefully it is not just a cheap *** helical LSD that has pitted gears, broken washers and loose bolts.
