Destroyed reverse.. Need advice..
Let me start out saying I have a d16y7. Went to a restaurant, went to backup into a parking spot when out of nowhere a person drove behind me. Guess they couldnt wait for me to back in or they had too poop. I got bent out of shape dumped the clutch, my Exedy stage1 clutch grabbed as it should and reverse gear didnt. Took the trans apart to diagnose and evaluate my situation. I believe I need:
Mainshaft
reverse (counter)
5th (main)
reverse idler
Only have about 85 thousand miles on this trans. Dont want to buy a used transmission, would like to just replace parts. Can it be cheaper to just replace parts? I would also like to get a bigger final drive. Is that possible?

The countershaft 'gear' is actually 1st-2nd synchro sleeve. The honda dealers don't sell it by itself; they sell the whole synchro/sleeve set.
The other gears you can buy from a dealer.
MFactory may be able to help.

Thanks for the input, thats why the guy at dealership could not find the reverse gear on the countershaft. Will it be cheaper to just replace broken pieces or go to salvage yard and grab one? Then, which will be better, replace parts or replace whole?
The problem with a used transmission is that you may be getting one just as bad as your broken one. We part out about half of the cores we open due to excessive damage.
