B series Trans issues :(
Hey,
I have a 98 jdm type r motor and trans. I am just finding time to get around to working on my car again after a failed clutch/fw install.
Originally my clutch went out when I was driving. In order to get home I forced it into first gear. I have since replaced my clutch and flywheel and slave cylinder with competition clutch products.
After reinstalling the transmission and bleeding the clutch I can not get into any gear. The shifter sits far forward ( and i have checked to make sure that it is not backwards) and even if i manage to get into a "top" gear such as 1,3,5 it seems very sloppy. I can not tell if it is in gear or in neutral. Also if I put it in a "bottom" gear it sits like it should be in neutral. I have tried 3 sets of linkage, oem, avid, and oem all with the same results.
Its driving me nuts and I really would appreciate some help. Any thoughts?
