Just bought my first civic 1995 Honda Civic hatch eg, that’s previous owner did a motor swap(F20b) and a transmission swap with a lsd installed, the motor and tranny look great and it runs great, only problem is the car grinds in second gear but it’s from the shift linkage getting stuck when trying to shift into second, the previous owner said to swap the shifter linkage with a 90-93 manual Honda Accord he seemed knowledgeable so I went to the junkyard and pulled this part, got back home but it doesn’t line up with the bolts of the old linkage,should I drill new holes to make it fit or is their an easier way to fix this, second gear feels as if it gets hung up and grinds, every other gear shifts smoothly
