If anybody can help me it would be appreciated. I cant figure out what to do with the IACV fix. I have a M/T d16y7 block and I got a y8 head and manifold out of an A/T. the only thing I can find for the swap says to do the IACV fix. the 3 wire to the 2 wire plug but 96-00 A/T vtec has the same 3 wire plug for IACV as the y7. Will it work if I just plug the IACV in. And if I plug the 3 wire in do I still have to do the Iacv fix on the ecu side. Or will this IACV just work because they are the same? Thanks in advance if anybody have a cpl answers for me.

 

it will not work with a manual ex ecu, it can't control it. if you're using an auto ex ecu it will work, but you will have a check engine light for transmission codes.

 

You can add the 2 wire if you drill and tap
