Okay i'm still running my factory motor. We can't figure out why in the world it cuts out or off i should say at 3000 rpms. Now if you rev slowly you might get it to get it
to 5000 grand. On top of that it idles like ****. We replaced the fuel pump, new plugs,tried new msd ignition system. And I'm a drunk redneck who knows nothing about hondas, so for some reason I can't figure this one out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check your distrbutor?? Try and reoplace it and maybe that will fix the problem. I am guessing there is no CEL's.. This sounds like a problem I have had friends have had before.

 

Well we looked at it last night and we came up with this. The computer is fooked up
they are several caps burnt up. They are a couple of pins that have burned marks
on them.
