Default window problem

hey guys, first time in this thread, i ran a search didnt find much, sooo, heres my problem, i bought my accord a couple months back, but when i baught it, for some reason the next day, my passenger side window, like fell off something inside, so it doesnt move up or down, but i can hear, and see(if i move the stripping around) some black thing move up and down when i use the button, so my thinking is that the window fell off that autotrack or whatever, so, how hard is it to open a door panel, few people are telling me to buy some rubber cement or something for the weather stripping? do i really need it? Any info would be nice, my car stats are in my sig, thanks guys

I've had the same problem with my civic. I can't roll my window down in the winter because it will fall off the track. Seems like a common problem with Hondas. It's easy to fix though. Most Honda doors are held on with plastic plugs and a couple of screws (pretty chincy but makes for easy removal). I'm not too familiar with Accords but just look around the door. There's probably a couple of screws around the speaker and a couple by the door handle that hold it on. Once these are gone, you can just pull on the panel and the plastic plugs should give. There's probably gonna be a plastic sheet covering the inside of the door (keeps moisture out) wich is attached with plastic plugs and sticky, tar-like, adhesive. Carefully peel it back.

Putting the window on can be tricky. You'll have to unbolt it from the window holder (sounds complicated but once you see what I mean, it's pretty easy). Then the window will be free so you can realign it in the track. Once you get it set in the track, bolt it back into the window holder.

I wish I could be more clear on how to do it, but once you get inside the door, everything else is pretty self explanatory.

P.S. I've gone around without the plastic sheet in my driver's side door for 4 years now and I haven't had any moisture or corrosion problems.
