heres what i'm trying to do:

i sold my custom turbo kit to friend with a d16y7 (orig told me he had my same motor) my chip in my p28 was tuned with uberdata for my d16y8 vtec, can i just open the bin and uncheck vtec and vtec coolant check, save and burn, will this run his car well enough to get to a tuner if he takes it easy like stays out of the 5k+ range where the map would be tuned differntly for vtec?


also he has the stock intake manifold with 3 wire iacv, will my spare 2 wire iacv bolt up to his IM? then id need a plug for a 2 wire and to switch a wire at the ecu?
thanks for any help, he/i thought he had the same motor until he showed up with the car and poped the hood for me... and i know next to nothing about tunning
