Default Wideband 02 any advise?

I am looking at purchasing a wide band 02 as a stand alone system. The two I am looking at are the AEM Uego or the autometer as I currently have autometer gauges. Does anyone have opinions or experience with either of these units?

why would you have the need for a wideband?

The only time you should be using a wideband is for tuning really. Street tuning is not the correct way to do it either. Decent results can be had but they will be nowhere close to dyno tuning.

For tuning purposes, I most definitely suggest getting an Innovate Technologies WBo2 setup. You can integrate it with most tuning systems and it has a data-logging function so that you do have the ability to street tune if you would like.

I personally use Innovate Technologies for most of my tuning needs on cars and motorcycles.

For my higher performance tunes where I am concerned with NoX and whatnot, I use my Snap On setup with a 5-gas analyzer and my FastTrack Reference software along with whatever tuning program I may be using at the time. Mostly I use the 5-gas setup on carbureted motorcycles.

I just want to be able to monitor the air /fuel. a narrow band doesn't cut it. This motor is SC'd will have a ported and decked head, and all the other goodies too. I am concerned about it.

it is fuel injected, as long as it is tuned correctly, you should not have to worry about it. If there is something wrong with it, trust me, you will know.

I could understand your concern if you were running a set of side draft Mikuni's or something but you are not. Just be sure it is tuned properly and that all of your components are in good shape and kept clean, and you will have nothing to worry about
