Which system would be good for street tuning??
I am thinking of ditching my blue box and get some system to tune my car..
i don't have a dyno nearby and i don't have that much money for a dyno tune too..
so i am thinking maybe i should get a system that I can tune it myself...
i can probaly go to a dyno next year...
Which system do you guys recommend and it's worth the price??
Also, for street tuning, what other gauges or stuff i should get ??
i only have a a/f ratio gauge and boost gauge.. and a apexi TT which shows o2 vot and a/f...
help me plz
thanks

I like the PowerFC because you can tune the car while someone else is driving it around without a laptop so you can tune every cell individually for daily driving whenever you want. The only hard part is fuel tuning and you basicly just have to be experienced to tune fuel by the way the car feels and EGT. Speedpro is easier to tune in that aspect because you can set a target fuel ratio and it will try to get close. (I've heard the aem ems can do this as well but I haven't seen it first hand yet)
as for guages, the only useful guage is exhaust gas temp. everything else can be read by your standalone (powerfc, speedpro, hondata...)

Not really, powerfc is only like 1200 bucks with the commander.. AFC+FMU... is gonna be at least 500-600.. its really not that much more to have something that runs properly

well VAFC is around 250, and i don't need fmu to run that hack...
i only need bigger injectors
so it's a big difference

well Idon't have any experience with anything else, but for cheap, the smc works good for me. just my preference. I'd like to have zdyne, but my turbo setup is cheap, so I gotta keep it that way for now. maybe one day i'll have zdyne.

HOndata if you are obd1 will be pretty inexpensive. ALL I haft to say is you get what you pay for. If you want it done right fork out the extra cash it is well worth it!
