i just installed a b18b from teg 94 into my 94 civic hatch today and the motor didnt start. it cranks but doesnt start. i got the motor from my cousin who bought the car from someone else. the motor has 24k miles on it. but the car has been sitting for about 5 yrs because it was wrecked. the engine has spark but i dont know if it has fuel or not. i think it does because when i removed the bolt from the fuelfilter a little sprayed shot out. that means it has pressure right? so i think it may be injectors or something. how do i check them. what do you guys think my problem could be?

 

pull off the three 10mm nuts on the fuel rail and pull the injectors out and turn it over, are they firing?
make sure you have your plug order right, and your cam timing.

 

Also have you run a compression test yet?
