Motor wont start Help PLs
So i just installed a new engine i could not get it to start though.
actually its a d16y8 block with a d16z6 head but that shouldn't matter basically same as any d16 motor
so the symptoms are it cranks just fine but wont start and i do not hear any combustion at all
what has been done:
according to my timing light it has spark
has fuel up to the fuel filter(was leaking so i am getting new crush washers, but i dont think this is the problem it should at least try to start.)
Double checked my timing belt was on correct
Pulled dizzy cap saw the rotor is facing #1 at TDC and double checked firing order 1 3 4 2
next:
replace crush washers
check compression
any other ideas guys? one of my major questions would be how to i test the injectors? because i know there is fuel to them and i am also getting spark.

Do you have 12V+ at the injectors, [wire that is the same color on all 4 injectors].
Test and make sure there is 12V+ to all injectors when ign. key is in run and start. 94

i will check the voltage when i get home. but i do have dsm injectors with the resistor box. so voltage should be lower. also i had this resistor box/ injector setup on my last motor and it worked fine.
Yeah, I think you need to get a noid light and make sure you have injector pulse. Just as a quick test before you buy a set of noid lights is to just spray alitttle carb cleaner into the throttle body and see if it tries to start. If not you have some other problems.
