I just got done building my b16 now the damn thing wont start I'v checked all the connections twice, grounds every thing i can think of. theres fuel getting to the rail the timing is on and i have spark i dont get it. the motor will turn over all day but wont start. If i spray startin fuild in the intake manifold it starts for a second then shuts rite off. the motor is in a crx theres is also a drag turbo kit on the motor any help would help

u just asnwered you question buddy! if u used startin fluid and it tried to start then the injectors are not working....check your injector wiring....if there is fuel in the rail that doesnt mean your injectors are working!...injspect them

and yea start with stock sprak plugs and make sure your dist is in middle postion....sometimes i advance it a bit to make start a fresh built engine quicker! but NOT allot of advance!

sounds stupid but you may also want to check you have the right plugs on the correct terminal on the dizzy.

you said you check your grounds, but some people tend to miss the ground by the thermostat, check that.

how long did u try cranking it? brand new motors can take quite a few cranks before starting.

dont forget to prime ur oil pump.

made sure your tdc,valve lash is all good? did u double check it?

I had the same problem last week, i cleaned the iac and she fired right up!

It started!!! after 2 hours with a test light one of the wires running off the main injector plug was pulled out just enough that it wasnt making a good enough connection thanks thoe for the help.
