Default RED? stuff coming from exhaust?

00 EX Coupe, SOHC VTEC, CAI, ZEX Plugs, timing retarded 3 degrees, ZEX 75 shot...Haven't sprayed it in a few weeks, put new N1 on it, has something red on the inside of the tip...it's like dust, not greasy, like oil smoke would be gray, this would be red, you can wipe it off with your finger, like a dry erase marker...I've been in the parts buisiness for 10 years, and nobody has EVER asked me about something red blowing through their tailpipe...Any ideas as to what it might be?

Could it be something from inside the N1 you installed?

I first noticed it after I installed the N1, but maybe I noticed it because the new N1 was all shiny and stuff....at any rate, i don't seem to have any performance issues, maybe it was something inside the N1 burning out, but don't you think it would've stopped by now? been doing it for 3 or 4 days now...

No red coolant, but i do run 93 octane religously...would it maybe have something to do with these Zex plugs?

I would say its just some left over residue from the manufacturing process, drive it a few hundred miles and see if its still coming out

Have you used any kind of octane boost lateley? Turbo 108+ and others leave a red/orange dust when used.
