Default why is d15b7 motor overheating???

its a pretty weird problem im having, i was drving about 45 minutes in traffic with no signs off overheating... then i get on a pretty dead highway, going about 65-70 mph, i then notice my temperature needle rise towards the h, then when i decrease the speed to 55 mph, the needle goes back to normal, what couild it be??? theirs enough coolant inthe resorvoir and i know the fans r working, what else could it be hope it isnt an engine internal problem, maybe radiator?

First, do you have a proper coolant level in the engine? If there's an air bubble, it might do that.

i was hoping it wasnt the head gasket, im completely stock no boost wutsoever, but its a weird problem, i was in traffic today all day with the a/c on and no problems, but when i go over 65 mph my temp needle rises, the coolant level is fine and i put coolant in my radiator as well, the levels are fine, is a radiator clog possible cause when i opened the radiator cap i saw little black stuff floating in the antifreeze

Yeah, could be clogged. It makes sense. Heavier load, more heat, but nowhere for the heat to go.
