Wheel Stud Help Needed
Ok so after much work today and trying to remove all 16 of my wheel studs because they are stripped, because I am an idiot long story. I need help getting the hub off to change them? Has anyone ever done this? Can someone link me to anywhere or tell me how to change all my wheel studs. Thanks in advance.

well. u jus take off the caliper n string it up so doesn't hang by the brake lines.... and then pop off the 2 rotor screws with impact screwdriver. take off rotor... and there ya go. jus bang the old studs out n put in new ones. its not a complicated thing.

it's pretty much like he stated. also a good time to paint rotors and or drums.
just use the hammer to pound them out (no you won't mess anything up) and dap some anti cease on the vertical threads that will be going into said rotor/drum slide it in and use the hammer again.

the only thing that I saw that it did not look like there was enough clearance for the studs to come out the back there is a black semi plastic thing behind the studs and i dont see how they would fit out also I though you had to put the new ones in from the back and it does not look like you can fit them through there is only a 1inch gap between the hard plastic thing and the hole for the studs.
ALSO are any of you speaking from experience on changing wheel studs on a 2000 civic SI just wondering to make sure that it can be done the way you say. I really dont want to have to tow it and have a shop do it.

never changed 00 si studs just ef/eg and a **** load of domestics. you can't take the rear rotors off? on my ef i had to pull the axels to get them out.
why not paint rotors? is the paint going to come off and get stuck in your wheel and kill you or something? i can understand not painting the actual hub section that the wheels mounts to (for obvious reason not being that you're not going to see it anyway but others) but you can paint the area around it.

We only tried the front drivers side so far, and that semi hard black plastic thing that was in the way kind of thwarted are attempts with the hammer we did not know how to do it so we did not mess with it.......Any input is appreciated, I am hoping to change them tomorrow if I can get the right info. If not I may have to resort to a shop I need the car on the road ASAP.

Also when I do get them out there is a problem that I heard getting the new ones in is a pain, and that they may go in at an angle and screw things up, just trying to get a feel for the project if its even worth attempting......does anyone know how much a shop would charge to change all 16 studs? Or at least how long the job should take?
the rears are easy, but... the fronts are a different story. there is no clearance to remove or install the studs if your not familliar with using a hub puller take it to a shop. you may also have to buy wheelbearings for the front because the inner race of the bearing likes to stick to the hub and destroy the bearing. on the rear... remove the disk and check for clearance. if no clearance take off the dust cover(round cap in the middle) and remove large bolt. the hub will slide off.
Thank you for all your help..... We managed to get the rears changed out last night and now all I have to pay for is the front two...thanks again you all saved me about 240 bucks.
