Wheel stud stripped!!! HELP!!!
Ok, one of my wheels studs stripped while taking out a lugnut. I've searched and found nothing but ARP studs forsale. Does anyone know how to remove the brake rotor and reinstall new studs for the front. My car is a 98 civic. Please help, thanks in advance.

Is it just stripped or did it scheer right off (break off)? If it's just stripped, you can get a 12m x 1.5 die from PepBoys or wherever (around $3) and use it to rethread the wheel stud. Works great on old car with rusty wheel studs. If it's broken off, then you can either press the hub off of the knuckle and pound/press a new wheel stud back in, or you can take the rotor off and spin the hub until you have enough room to pound the stud out while the hub is still on the knuckle. A new wheel stud from a Honda dealership costs a few bucks.

Hello, this post wasn't too hard for me to find.. here you go
its a excellent diy
p.s. just get the rotor off and hammer like no other. probably the quickest way to do it.
