what would no knock sensor do?

Default what would no knock sensor do?

what would happen if i unplugged my knock sensor on my b16a, would it cause it to idle funny and die when i pressed on the gas?

It'll throw the knock sensor code, unless you disable it with an aftermarket EMS.

well, i just dropped a jdm b16a into my 95 civic dx and it starts....idles badly...and dies when i press the gas...have no idea what it could be

it is throwing a cel, i jumped it to see what it was, and the srs blinked instead of the cel, it read, 21, 21, 11, 21, 11, 21, 21, 11, 21, 11
doesnt make sense to me

The 95 DX isn't wired for VTEC. It needs the VTEC, VTEC oil pressure, and knock sensor wiring hooked up. You'll have to wire these up to fix it.

i know this.....but vtec has nothing to do with why my car is idling funny and dies when i press the gas, it wont even rev past 1500 before dieing
