What a mess im in..
BTW i've been a member on here for a while, but I forgot my password, for some reason though when I click I forgot my password it wont email my password but whatever.
Anyway im having a major issue here, I feel like such an idiot because this happened but ok. I was attempting to do a compression test today on my eg hatch. My compression tester screws into an adapter, then the adapter screws down into the spark plug hole. I checked the compression, then when I was done, I screwed out the compression tester, and lo and behold, it screws out of the f-ing adapter, leaving the adapter screwed into the spark plug hole! Of course I cant find anything long enough to reach down into the tube to grab the adapter, so im basically stuck with this freaking adapter screwed down there, and I cant find a way to get it out. I tried sticking a needle nose down there and grabbing it, but I couldnt get it out. Right now I tried screwing an 8" bolt into it with some locktite on it, letting it sit, and then trying to get unscrew it and hope it brings the adapter out with it, but of course my dumb dad tried it while I was out to dinner and didnt let it cure enough, so the bolt just screwed right out.
Guys, im completely stumped on this one, in my years of working on cars, I havent run into anything like this, do any of you guys have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

And that's gonna help how? The thread in the adapter is right handed. What are you gonna screw that bolt into?

Heres what I just did. For some reason the bolt wasnt screwing in good to the adapter piece from hell, so instead I put some JB weld on a spark plug, and screwed the spark plug into the adapter with jb weld on it. Im going to let it sit overnight, and try it in the morning. I'll let you guys know how it go's.
Cross your fingers lol.

man my friend has done this before all i did was just use one of my " long needle nose pliers " a long one now.... not them short ones.. and wa la it came out... you gotta have a tight grip on the pliers.. you can get these pliers at wal-mart or if you see the snap on truck man riding around grab a set its around $129.00 comes in great hands...
but that locktite stuff will work just make sure not to let that stuff get into your threads in the head... then you'll be in some deep ****... haha.. good luck..

I forgot to release the pressure once while doing a compression test, and after about 5 minutes, the 200psi in the line was enough to blow it right off where it was crimped together. I shined a light into the sparkplug tube and saw that there was a small hole in the adapter so I took a small tipped long shank philips screwdriver and tapped it into the hole in the adapter. I was able to get it in far enough to get a good grip, and used an adjustable wrench on the handle of the screwdriver to turn it out. Then I went back to Autozone and exchanged the compression tester.
OMFG, I ******* love you. I left it alone for the first time in a day and a half, and watched a movie with my gf. After the movie, we got ready to go out to dinner, and on the way to the truck, I stop and say to myself let me try this **** again. So I get a bright idea to take a philips head screwdriver, and hammer it into the hole at the bottom of the adapter, I try it for like 10 minutes and my dad come outside and says any luck? I unscrew the screwdriver, and pull it out and it feels light so I say no. He looks at me and says HOLY **** THERE IT IS! Well guess ******* what, the piece of **** adapter was at the end of the screwdriver. I took it off the screwdriver, looked in the hole to make sure this was it, and then I proceeded to hang it up on my wall. Thanks to everyone for the replies, and thank god I got this little stupid **** over with, even though it ruined my weekend.
BTW, I tested the compression afterwards and got: 210. 210. 205. 210.
Time to get going with this car.
I owe inspyral $2 million dollars.
