Default what happened to the vintage import builds.

i have just bought a jdm b16a from a friend. And another b18a1 from a co worker. now which one do i build for my 94 civic. And dont every one yell ls/vtec at the same time. It cost to much and sounds far fetched, with 100's of different methods for building. How can this be reliable, and shure in the hell isnt cheap. I want a classic all motor dohc engine. My b16a is far from complete. But i got it for 200$ and is jdm couldnt pass it up. The ls b18a is complete but has high miles(plan to build either engine regardless so this means nothing). I want the best hp/tq i can get. may use a gsr tranny to make up for low torque numbers. Any advice on building or tips. I would use turbo, but it is also costly, and i want the classic all motor honda hot rod....please help me out

well, I'm not sure how anything done to modify a honda can be called "classic" since a classic car generally is 25+ years old.

as far as advice, measure twice and cut once. Other than that if you dont know ask somebody.
