WHAT IS A GOOD CLUTCH SETUP?????
i have an ACT 6 puck race disc and a heavy duty pressure plate. the disc is unsprung. i am wondering if this setup is good for a daily driver. i heard the engagement will be extremely hard and in stop-and-go traffic, the car runs like crap. if this is true, what would be an ideal setup for a street driven ls/vtec with lsd?
i heard the centerforce stage 2 is a good choice for me. what about the other brands like clutchmasters and exedy?
thanks

I have a Centerforce duel Friction and a ACT street-lite flywheel, it is a awsome set up the pedal is slightly heavier then stock but it drives just like stock and it can take a beating without slipping (with my slicks it doesnt even slip) I highly recomend the duel friction clutch.

Unsprung clutches do put some added abuse on driveline parts. Depends on the setup you have. If your going with a lower horsepower all motor setup. A stock pp with just either a act street disk or a clutch net street disk. If its a turbo setup Either cluch net sprung 6 puck or street disk with a ACT Extreme pp. have used both and see to work fine on the cars with minimal breakage.
