Default weird msd btm question

When I connect the timing control to the btm my car won't start. Could it be because I don't have a vacum hose conected to it from my intake manifold?

Default Re: weird msd btm question (crxY-49)

No, it should start without the vaccum/boost signal, mine did. When I installed my 6btm, however, the car ran fine for about 2 minutes of idling (letting it warm up) then it died...the ICM tested bad, replaced it, but still wouldn't start, so I replaced the coil with an MSD one and it fired right up.
