water temp gauge???

do the mechanical guages need a ground?
the guage I have is just a temperature sensing bulb, with and ether filled lined, that goes to the gauge

Gauge seems to be working perfectly, I prefer the mechanical gauge for temperature, its nice to be able to see it even with the car off

Nah it doesn't need a ground

oh, it's mechanical. then naw, it doesn't need a ground. electrical does though.
