Default wat type of intake

hey guyz i had a quick question i have a 99 civic ex im thinking of cold air intake, should i get AEM or the AeroSpeed front mount intake system, also do they sound the same? if u kno anything leave a post thx alot

Dont get the Arospeed intake, you'd get flamed for even asking.

The AEM seems to be the most popular. Honestly I think intake is intake, all the same, I never feel a difference with intake so I'm not a fan of paying 2 bills for a nice growl.

I saw a dyno of a dragon cold air system outperforming an AEM. Looks kind of cheaply built though. I think the foam filters actually do create less restrictions than the K&N filters used by well...everybody. Comptech uses a foam filter too and their system equals or surpasses AEMs. Plus Comptech is a very well respected name as opposed to weaponR. Just don't get the original dragon filter, I understand they got entirely too agressive with the pore size and it let all sorts of garbage into your engine. I believe they've fixed the problem now though.
