Default secret weapon intake by weapon r

hey wassup .. i searched and didnt find anything on this intake so i decided to start a post about it discussing the pros and cons of this intake for the people who are interested .. so first off .. this is a pretty new addition to the many different intake choices for the acura integra .. what do u guys think of it ? .. do u guys think that this intake theory is good with the use of 2 different pipes to create more airflow and the filter which is made out of polyurthane foam ? .. how do u think this intake is compared to the aem system , injen .. etc

Not many can compare to the AEM. Though the differences are minimal to none.

I'm pretty sure the Ebay special HIPOWAH!!!1oen intake compares quite well to the AEM one. Comptech is a good intake since it isolates the filter from the engine bay while also keeping it away from water. I'm not too sure on the WeaponR one, but if you have the money, get the Comptech one.

I agree, the AEM is about as bad as they come.

Weapon R? Come on...another rice company. Stick with the engineered stuff that doesn't have to rely on models or special names to make you feel unique.

Comptech Icebox, Filter, and keep the factory arm

TPR did some testing on this intake and the results on it and the dragon were very good, they were comparable or better than the aem. Go to their website and you can see the results. http://www.tprmag.com/issue/1/1_intakes.shtml

I've tried these intakes on my tegs over the years:
Modified OEM
AEM short ram
AEM cold air with and without the air bypass valve
Iceman Cold Air Intake
Ebay special
RS akimoto (or something like that)
K&N FIPK

out of all of those, I liked the K&N intake kit the best cause the heatshield/tubing/hardware/filter element were all well done, and it uses the same type of setup as the ARC and comptech icebox (keeping the air temps cooler around the intake while maintaining a shorter distance in the tubing) for much less money.
