Stephen's intake?
Hey I've heard alot about aem and the like not giving enough flowway up top. I also hear that Stephen Sakai has a custom intake that does some good in this range. what's his setup? I'm really interested in trying it out.
If i remember correctly Jeff "LIP" had a dyno graph where steves intake "which again I believe is just a K&N on the stock tube" was very close and sometimes better than the AEM that was on Jeffs car
Yea, a short ram intake works good when you rev your engine sky high, like over 9000rpm.
I'd stick with a AEM or a Comptech Icebox for most applications.
If I had like 13.5:1 and Spec B's it would be a different story.

Sakai has a K&N filter on the stock intake tube. That's it nothin special but it works. He might have something different now but you'll have to ask him.
