Think that my girlfriend may be needing to take her car in for coverage under the warranty...
Does the dealership require that you show proof of maintenance? I've been doing the oil changes etc for her, so don't have "official" paperwork... just mileages written down as to when we did the things...
Hopefully they won't be sticklers for this?

 

Most places Ive delt with dont really require any proof. What's wrong with her car? If it's just an alternator or something then chances are they wont hassle you about oil changes.

 

this past weekend, her oil started dripping like crazy... she didn't hit anything , or run over anything, so it was kind of odd that it did that... apparently when you switch from reverse to drive, it does this major jolt, so who knows what's wrong with that....

yeah... hopefully they won't be jerks about documentation....

Let's hope you screwed the oil filter on right. They can jack up easily.
