Walbro 255 hp issues
I have a crx with a b16 swap and just installed a Walbro 255 High Pressure pump. I used a B+M regulator to lower the pressure and drilled a hole in the regulator as reccomended by ppl on the site and http://theoldone.com/articles/regulator/
Anyway, in order to start the car i must let the pump fully prime or the thing will most likely be hard to start. THere are no fuel leaks and fuel pressure is at 35psi with the vacuum line connected. Have any of you had this problem before or have opinions? Thanks

The stock fuel pressure is 40psi. Try putting the stock regulator back on it. If that doesn't help, then I would check to see if the Walbro is in working order. Was everything good before you installed the Walbro pump?
Check your wiring, it can be old and corroded. It's a best idea to run direct power with a relay to make sure the fuel pump is working 100% and getting all the voltage it can
and that B&M fuel pressure modifier is garbage they are known for problems.

Everything worked fine before the new pump and regulator. I will check voltage to the pump later, but all the wires looked fine.
Ok, so i finally put the stock regulator back on the car. The car now starts like it used to and the fuel pressure is right at 40psi. I thought the psi would be much higher with the 255hp pump but i guess i got lucky? The car runs better and is not running too rich or anything. Has anyone here had the hp pump without an adjustable fpr?
