Some questions:

What car is it in?
What kind of B16 is it?
What kind of ECU are you running?
What (if any) CEL codes is it throwing?

 

it's a B16a1
It's in a crx
as far as i know it's the stock ecu that came with the motor
i have not had it on a machine yet

 

Is the check engine light on at all?

 

the check engine light has been on since i put the motor in, about 1 and a half years ago. i;ve had it checked out and they have told that everything was ok. this is the first time that my VTEC has stoped working, it's kind of surprising to me b/c i've never heard of this before

thanks a million, I tell you what,,, tomorrow first thing in the morrning, i'll get under my dash board and i'll get the codes.. How can i get a hold of you besides this web site so i can give you the codes, b/c you will probably be able to make more sense out of them than i can. and you'll probally know what to to to fix this problem
