the fact that he's running a gsr ecu wouldn't prevent vtec from working, and gsr's don't have a quieter vtec than b16's >_>
check you're wiring. what car is this b16 in?
the codes from the gsr ecu should be just the IAB/evap, vtec should still work @ 4400.

im sorry.......let me correct myself....1992 honda civic 4 door wiht a b16a swap with an ls tranny.i have dc sport headers 4-2-1 i also have a jackson racing superchanger with 12psi everything is port and polished...do i need to and anything else..like i said i am new to this....

a 94 4 door...what chassis package??? is it an lx, dx?
if you don't know then do you have power windows, and locks, etc. ???
usually if you have the DX chassis there will be no wiring in the engine harness for vtec...
