Default fixed car, new problem B16

so I fixed the problem how it was hesitating to go and stuff, i just changed the distributor wires, spark plugs, and o rings. i have anew problem, where my redline is wicked low, like around 5 grand. i think its fuel starvation, idk tho. wat do you guys think?

um i havent gotten a check engine code in a while. usualy when i engine brake a lot but i havent done that so i will try tomrow to c if it goes on. i have the stock ecu idk wat its called. il ask my bro n let u kno. thanks a lot for your time guys

The stock ecu for what?

if it's the ecu you had before the swap, it's not going to work right.

Is it an b16 ecu? Or a sohc ecu?

its the ecu that came with the swap. and i checked today and engine light still goes on when i engine break. i dont hear vtec either but my bro says he hears it, idk wat hes talking about tho lol. i will check my tps. thanks guys
