Default Vtec not workin

95 gsr swap into a 93 hb cx. It drives fine just no vtec. the car just came out of the shop for body work and now it doesn't work. any ideas? Any help will be thankful

I don't think the CX has vtec stock, did you wire for vtec with the wiring harness? Are there any CEL's?

Also, what ECU are you using?&gt;

well the cx motor probably didnt have vtec,but he did a gsr swap. check the solenoid and oil and all that. is it throwing a code? reset the ECU and try again.

Thanks for the help fellaz. But it's still not working right. Just found out that the cars a vx not a cx if it makes a difference.
I did a compression test today on it and it came up bout 225 all across but cylinders 2 and 3 were soaked with oil all over the threads, could that be the problem? He's not burning any oil either.
It also sounds like his vtec is opening up just not the secondary valves screaming like it used too.

Hey check the soliniod valve make sure it's working right. Also you said the car just came out of the body shop right ? Check all connections , grounds , etc. maybe they body shop disconnected something that would effect vtec and either forgot to re-connect it or didn't know it was loose. I've seen alot of body shop f***-up's come into the shop I work at.

Checked the solenoid it's fine we're just gonna try abother ecu next.
