Default VTEC??

so i have a civic ex. and there is definately something wrong with it. if you have vtec with an auto does it make it seem like your vtec isnt actually there?

im guesing you have you have a d16y8 not downing sohc motors. but you never will hear it or feel it. especially if the motor is stock.

you can hear the crossover a little if you run a open throttle body

ok. whats ur opinion on exhaust. what is good. right now i have a magnaflow muffler. it came on the car. but i was thinking about doing exhaust with headers as my next step.

smsp header for exhaust manifold

magnaflow catback for exhaust. i love my magnaflow catback! a lot of people have commented saying they never knew a honda could sound like that. its quiet during idle and normal acceleration but at WOT its totally different

Default VTEC???

HELP!!! I cant get my vtec to kick in. We've changed the ecu and the solonoid. Can anyone help me fiqure out whats wrong with it. Its a H22A. Its showing a code 21(vtec solenoid) that wont clear.

^^ then clearly if its throwing that code, then its your vtec solenoid malfunctioning. therefor no vtec.
