Icon6 VSS Problem Aftter Swap...

Here's the series of events:
-Swapped '04 motor into my '02 Rsx Type S
-Wouldn't idle for ****, so I swapped the '02 throttle body onto the '04 motor. Idles fine now.
-Car ran fine for a good 50-60 miles, then the CEL came on. Code was for the VSS. And VTEC error or whatever, I forget the wording. But it wasn't engaging.
-Swapped the VTEC sensors. Ran better and engaged as long as the CEL wasn't on.
-CEL came back. Still reading the VSS code. Did some research, VSS is for the Vehicle Speed Sensor. I assumed it meant Vtec Solenoid Sensor. lolz Flame suit on. Also, when the CEL for the VSS is on, car has a tendency to stall out when it's taken out of gear. Which I read is a common probablem with the VSS code. I originally thought it might of been the TPS since we swapped throttle bodies, but I dropped tested that sensor and it is fine. No codes for it as well.
- So now I'm looking to put in a new Vehicle Speed Sensor. I got a hold of a new one for $65, which I thought was a good deal. Anyways, I don't kno where the VSS is located. Which is why I'm on here now.
If anyone could direct me in the right direction, or post a pic of the block with the VSS circled, that would be awsome. I also put in a new thermostat, and I read in one article that it was located by the thermostat housing.

It should be mounted onto your transmission

The vss is located on the top of the transmission near the differential. Did you swap the transmission? When removing the engine/transmission from the car did you remove the vss from the transmission or leave it in place?

If it was removed, it may not have been properly installed. If it wasn't, then the connector might not be fully connected.

edit: Got distracted when typing this post and you fixed it before i posted. haha
