Default valve job

I can't take this valve tap anymore!!! Valve job, can anyone give me a rundown on how it's done & how hard it is to do.

It's for a D16Z6 I built the bottom end myself & I understand all the components involve in the motor top to bottom. I just wanna hear from you guys as to how hard it is to do & how long it should take. a

Any imput from experienced people is appreciated.
Thanx!

I think you mean you want to set the lash, this would cure the taping sound. Valve job is a completly different process.

You have to adjust your valves when the engine is cold, set the cam to TDC and adjust #1 valves then turn counterclock wise a quarter turn and adjust #3 valves
then another quarter turn adjust #4 valves then another quarter turn adjust #2
valves.
