Default VAFC wiring question...

just double checking some wiring for my car...

car is an 88 civic hatch dx, with a d16y8, 89 crx si intake manifold, 89-90 si distributor, and 89-90 si enging wiring harness. ecu is a pr4 from a 90-91 integra ls (non vtec).

from the VAFC wiring diagram, the grey wire should go to the TPS, the RPM wire should go to the ICM wire from the distributor, I do not use the VTM wire, the VTEC solenoid signal connects straight to the VTEC solenoid on the engine, and the pressure sensor connects to the MAP sensor.

the main worries I am having relate to the RPM wire, the VTEC solenoid, and the pressure sensor. is the pressure sensor for the VTEC oil pressure? or for the MAP? any advice or wisdom would be much appreciated.

The pressure sensor goes to the MAP (Manifold Absolute PRESSURE) sensor.

The RPM can either be hooked up to the ditributor ground or b15 (Ive done 2 VAFC installs, one time b15 gave a reading, the second install i had to use the dist ground). Just run a wire to the ground to be safe.

The VTEC solenoid input wire should run directly to the VTEC solenoid, dont worry about the output wire.
