What pisses me off about these i that the cheapest hook-up with an industry contact is right below $300, I know they retail in Japan for like $200! That sucks!
$300 is only a couple hundred away from Hondata.

It's worth the $300, especially when you have it tuned on the dyno. You motor will thank you as your can adjust the A/F to a stoic rate, your fuel economy improves, and you'll see gains throughout the entire powercurve. Oh, and yes, you can manipulate the VTEC crossover.

...Actually the base hondata system starts at just over $300...if you have it tuned...you can also adjust your timing ....unlike the vafc ....this will help solve alot of problems ....especially if your running high compression ....anyway if your in so cali and your interested ....hit me up

I think its great controller, I installed it my self and took it to my local shop here in AZ and after they tuned I got a good 9.9 horsepower and a 7.8 torque gain from my crvtec motor. So I think its a verygood investment, well in my personal opinion also its the dopest looking vtec controller out there. Hope this helps.

Had it in my ITR hatch. It was ok. Took it out and put in a stage 2 hondata. Night and day difference. I can't imagine what it will be like once it is dyno tuned. I recommend the Hondata!! Unless you just want a cool blinkie light with cool digital displays...that's about all my VAFC was. Hondata stage 2 is only about $450 retail installed. Are you staying all motor or going FI?

VAFC is just a little fuel only adjustment device. it sure give u some gain, but cant compare with hondata which fuel and ignition timing is adjusted.

Hondata and V-AFC is like comparing apples to COWs...yeah they are both food, but the similarity ends there.....
