im looking at the apexi VAFC. they just released the VAFC-II. ive read about the difference in the two... has anyone gotten the second version yet? i was wondering if you can actually put out better numbers with the VAFC-II... or should i just buy the cheaper VAFC?

i think the adjusment are more fine.

you should NOT get eathier one. you can get a hondata s100 for less then a v-afc. you can sell your p13 for the price you pay for another ecu.

what he said.
P28-$100
S100-$280

The only reason that you would want a VAFC over Hondata would be if you lived in BFE and didn't have access to a Hondata tuner.

Where can you find a list of hondata tuners, and how much more does it cost for them to tune it. I can tune the Vafc myself so if if cost another 200 dollars to tune for example than theres more money on top of what it cost for the s100 and ecu

Call some local dynos and see if they have experience with Hondata. Or go to Hondata.com and check their forum for tuners. It will cost more overall to get Hondata and have it tuned, but you also get better control of fuel and ignition maps.

Hondata doesn't have a P13 application, or at least didn't have one when I bought mine. You can either use a P28 or P72. P28s are much cheaper, but you have to deactivate the butterflies.
