Default V-AFC in non-vtec?

Will a V-AFC work ok in my B18A1 integra? I understand that it is for the vtec motors.. but the price difference is $3.. so I figure why not get the vtec one because I may go vtec in the future. Anyone tried this? thanks.

I would consult an Apexi dealer on this. If the VAFC looks for the VTEC soleniod then you are going to have issues.

yes it will work fine, just do the RPM, VSS and map sensor connections ... when you go ls/vtec later on, just do the vtec connections then.
