are they really worth the 150 bucks they go for?

I think so. Some people have different opinions about them. You can find a brand new set on ebay that people are selling usual end price 100-120. Just keep look out.

i wouldnt buy pulleys from ebay. my friend got one and it broke within a couple days.

Yeah, it is. My friend got one for his sixth generation Celica, and he loves it, even though it was a pain to install.

I will never put an after market crank pulley on my engine, after I've seen the wear and tear that it can do, I decided its not worth the little gains you will see from it.

I would also have to recommend against them. Ive seen belts brake on a regular bases with many brands of these aftermarket pulley's. The performance gains arent near as much as they claim. Stick with your Honda made pulley's because if 10sec all-motor cars run them then I promise they will work fine for you as well. At the end of the day its all up to you and what you would like to do to your car. They surely wont cause any major damage but they might be a waste of $150 bucks. Hope this helps.
