I just aquired a 99 Civic SI which will be a new project car. Its been abused and needs lots or work. i noticed that the crank pulley has been smashed on one side so instead of replacing it with an OEM piece i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with overdrive pulleys. I was plannign to get a cheap one from ebay

I'm not sure I would be comfortable trusting the tolerances or balance of an eBay pulley (though they also could be fine), but you can find an Unorthodox Racing Tuner Series pulley for around $90.

If you can kept the engine damper sure but I don't think you can. You really want to keep the damper.

One of my buddies bought an ebay pulley for his 97 Civic and didnt have to change anything but the belts. He hasnt had any problems with it yet.....they seem to be pretty reliable
