Default Tuning

I want to learn how to tune, is there any free based programs I could mess around with on the internet?? or a user friendly program I could purchase? if you all know anything or can give me me some pointers I would appreciated it.
I would be learning on a d16 on my civic, also have an accord w/ f22 if this helps

thanks

to start you can download the free crome; buy a eeprom burner, get a chipped ecu and start playing around.
