Default Troubleshooting: New Battery Drain Issue Shortly After Installation

I got a new battery a week ago and this morning I needed a jump.... car stood on and we removed a terminal and the car stayed on so its not my alternator . what could it be?

If you have a digital multimeter and know how to test current (amperage) draw, you can see how bad of a parasitic drain you have going on.

From there you begin testing various circuits to find out where the drain is occurring. Usually started at the under the hood fuse box.

If you are unsure how to do a current draw test, I would not suggest tackling your problem alone.
