electeical issue lexus gs
So we picked up a 2002 Lexus gs300 for my wife and after we got it and it sat over night we found it had a bad battery. I replaced the battery around 9:30 am we went to take it to the store around 12 battery was stone dead. It will drain a brand new battery in about 2hrs. I put my multimeter on it was reading 12.40 with in 15 min it dropped to 9.80. Has a new alternator new starter new ecu new battery. I have pulled any fuse or relay I could find unplugged the ignition switch. Still can't find this voltage drain I know these cars tend to have a bunch of diodes and have only found 2. Any help would be great
I know on mid 2000's to about 2010/11 the HFL (hands free link) units i.e. bluetooth units caused a parasitic draw if they failed in hondas/acuras. Worth a shot since a third party designed the HFL units, and it may be the same manufacturer for Lexus.

I was able to find it it was a 15amp fuse on the passenger side fuse box but there is no lid on it to tell which fuse it which. Anyone have a diagram for passenger pose box
You set it up right. But did you wait for at least 30 mins before testing? The modules need time to power down on their own. It is not unusual for modules to remain awake for almost an hour on some makes.
Accordign to my diagram, there is no fuse in that slot. There is a 15a fuse above it ,though, with the letters "TV" as its designation.
Dont know if those letters imply the obvious,or if it means something else in Toyota lingo, but youre likley gonna need a wiring diagram.

No has a brand new battery 3 days old and already had it checked it was actually pulling 13.2amps that was showing 8 since it was draining the battery
the one marked TV actually means television, weird, but it's for the navigation screen, if there is a fuse in the empty slot below it, I would almost bet it's for the factory amplifier for the stereo, if it's not shutting off, it can pull quite a bit of current. Depends on if this car has the high end audio system, it's just like an aftermarket stereo that has a remote wire that malfunctions, if this happens the amp stays powered up and kills your battery
