ok first of i know this is going to sound like an incredibly impossible problem, but apparently it happened. a buddy of mine was replacing his vss and as he was doing this, he said that he dropped the long bolt that holds the vss to the tranny into his transmission! when i asked him what he did to get it out he said "nothing, i think it went all the way to the bottom of the bell housing. i'm just not going to worry about it until i have to change my clutch, which i'll have to do soon anyways, then i'll take it out." WTF! first off i call bull **** with him that it even happened, i mean is there anyway that a bolt that long could even fall that far into a transmission? i don't know that much about transmissions but that bolt has to be effing all kinds of stuff up, right?
