Transmission engages fine but...
I have a 2000 Civic Si and just recently installed my Quaife. The car has ran perfectly for 3000 miles (breaking in new motor). However ... fairly often as i shift into gears the engagement is smooth but i hear a click as a enter the next gear.
The click occurs et the end of the engagement. It has nothing to do with the clutch because if i am sitting still and shift gears with or without the clutch i still hear the click. Everything is smooth but the click really bothers me ... don’t know if it is serious.
Has anyone else experienced this... what could it possibly be..
P.s. - The trans has plenty of fluid and i put the new shim in when i installed the Quaife.
Thank you in advance...

just drive it till something breaks thats the best way to find out. J/k
does it click when the car is off did it do it ever since you had the diff in there or did you noitice it mostly after you broke it in. You may want to make sure the shifter is not getting hung up on anything
