Em1 with trans issues!
Ok so i have a em1 with a b18c lsd trans s80 to be exact. Ok so when i shift it to first and hit on the gas it takes a pretty long time to move about 4500 to. 5000 rpms . Also if i let the my foot off the clutch when in first it wont shut off . I can drive also i can shift to second with out the clutch . so when on the high way and im in 4 gear and i want to down shift or even slow down just a tap on the clutch and the car slows down like it suppose to . So has any one ever had this kind of experience . At first i thought my clutch was bad and needed replacement but now i think my trans might be done.

When the car is already moving it's easy for the clutch, but when standing and want to move is the hardest task for the clutch.

OP, check your clutch master cylinder reservoir, check your clutch pedal linkage, and check your clutch lines (there's only about 3 feet of line) for any leaks, kinks, or breaks.

Or his clutch pedal isn't adjusted correctly, or his clutch master cylinder is shot, or his clutch slave cylinder is shot.

This will work fine for you.
Most shops average around 300-400 to do a clutch on these cars. Save some money and DIY - Very simple job if you have a friend to help and a you are not completely mechanically challenged.

Got the same clutch from ebay. Works great.
Change your clutch and forget about it.
My old clutch looked far from worn but with the new one is like night and day.
If your old disk looks fine (like my did) it might be the springs on the pressure plate that get old and don't hold good enough anymore.
