Default TPS problem... (Yes I searched)

The problem is that everytime I punch the gas once i get to about 5600 rpm my check engine light comes on and guess what it's a code 7 (TPS). Do you guys think it just needs to be calibrated or is it bad? another thing at partial throttle the car boggs but if I open it up a little it runs fine. When I calibrate the TPS do I turn the ignition on and do I check the voltage at the ecu or at the plug behind the throttle body?
