Heating problem with jdm b16
I have a 94 cx with a jdm b16 with the regular bolt on. I/H/E and skunk2 chipped p28. My fuel is set at 38 psi. The motor is having trouble heating up normally. On cold(30 degrees) mornings I usually warm up the car for about 10 minutes before I got to work, but the temperature gauge hardly goes up. I feel on the motor to see if its hot, but its not. I'll drive for about 5 to 6 miles and the car would still be right at the bottom line, or barely above it. The odd thing is that sometimes it'll even drop back lower. Then on warmer days(60 degrees) the car would warm up normally. Can anyone tell me whats wrong?
mine does the same thing (92 b16a) the temp gauge wont move until ive been driving it for about 20-25 min...ive never though anything of it because the cx motor that was in before did the same thing
I would replace the thermostat with a higher degree or just replace it with a stock one and see how it reacts.
I think it's just the thermostat
I think it's just the thermostat
I recently changed out the thermostat about 2 months ago. It wasn't an oem from honda, but a cheapo from autozone.
